PLEASE HELP US TO REGISTER LAWLEY VILLAGE GREEN Lawley Village Green was given to the people of Lawley by Telford Development Corporation in 1990 although it is owned by Telford & Wrekin Council. It was built and landscaped in advance of the residential development already planned but not then begun. The school children stocked the lake with fish and today it is home to a variety of habitat including water foul. The land is classed as open space and not formerly registered as a village green. We want to safeguard it from development and this can only be done if it is registered as a village green but to do this we need evidence.
