® "PLANNING FOR REAL" The Parish Council in partnership with Neighbourhood Initiatives Foundation has conducted a Parish Plan. With the help of Lawley Primary School, Thomas Telford School and Dawley Baptist Church Youth Group we produced a scale model of the parish of Lawley and Overdale. We have held four "Planning for Real" events at four different venues throughout the parish. The results from these events have been collated and a consultation document showing the results has been produced. This document is available to view at Telford Library. Neighbourhood Initiatives Foundation has concluded that the Parish of Lawley & Overdale has many positive features and many negative features. It is hoped that the Parish Plan has highlighted both of these features through those that participated in the consultation. In order to "accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative" the Parish Council must work in partnership with the community and other agencies. This project has been part funded by the Countryside Agency and Neighbourhood Initiatives Foundation. |
